How To Bust Through A Weight Loss Plateau

Today I'm going to talk to you about the dreaded weight loss plateau, and here are some tips on what to do if it happens to you.

I've got an email here from Hailey.

She says, "Hi Kaz, I've been losing weight consistently for the past six weeks," awesome Hailey. "Then suddenly it stopped, I've plateaued.  How Can I Bust Through A Weight Loss Plateau? – Hailey."

Let's face it weight loss plateaus suck. They're demoralizing, and they just make you feel like giving up. You're doing the same thing that you were doing for the last six weeks when you were losing weight, but it's just stopped working.

So why is this happening & How To Bust Through A Weight Loss Plateau?

You see, your body's pretty clever. It recognizes that you've lost weight, so it puts itself into starvation mode to protect itself. Also, you've lost weight in the last six weeks so your activity has less impact. Let's face it you're lighter so you're carrying less around.

So, what do you need to do to kick start your body to get it back in the fat burning mode?

Make sure you shake things up, and have a variety of food. You want to make sure that you have different foods to trick your body. That's why all of my programs cover all that to help you get through any weight loss plateaus that you might come across.

Another way or my favourite way, to keep your fat burning mode going is to have a dream day every week.

I love dream days.

"So Kaz… what is a dream day?"

Great question Kaz!  You see, on the dream day you can eat whatever you want!  If you want chocolate, YOU CAN HAVE CHOCOLATE.  If you want lasagne, you can have lasagne… how good is that?!  The high carb foods you have on your dream day spike you blood sugar level, spiking sugar levels up ensuring you don't go into a plateau.

But you don't need to worry about any of that, because on all of my programs your mentor will help you through any of these issues!

    I lost 12 kilos then hit the wall – weight loss stopped. I watched this video a couple of days ago so introduced a dream day like you said. Guess what… weighed in this morning and down 1/2 kilo already. Genious Kaz!

      Hi Blanch, eat any of your favourite sweet (or high carb) foods! Chocolate, ice cream, cake, pasta… go berserk sweetie! This spikes your blood sugar levels and blasts you though a stall. Remember that the next day to eat no (or very, very low carb) to bring you back into the fat burning zone – if your following one of my programs your mentor will help with this. – Kaz xx

    Shaking the food up does it for me. A hit of carbs once a week, then bringing the blood sugars down works a treat.
